You mean your smutty MSN avatars that I always have to hide aren't explanation enough?  If you think about it, it's pretty easy to see where people get the impression you're going on aboot.

i am a furry. i don't know why but even since i was a very small child i've chosen to relate to the canine species more than other humans. they're my family. i always looked at them as my children and brethren. the way i relate to them is actually amazing. i've seen a lot of dogs trained to kill on command in the military and they are trained to respond to one person. yet within five minutes i could have them sitting next to me, shaking hands, playing fetch. its wierd. even my parents recognized this in me. some comments were made that im my fathers pup. im a bit socially stunted when it comes to having friends, but i would rather honestly be around a wolf or dog. i'v raised one wolf and twenty three dogs. the wolf was my favorite but i couldn't show that to the other four dogs i had at the time. my wife always had to strugle for attention from me and i feel bad about that. she divorced me after i joined the airforce. the only thing that made me sad was that i had to leave my children behind. it hurt more to leave my dogs than my wife. that kind of said something to me.
if you see some of my behaviour and saw my reflexes you would understand a bit more. alot of my actions i never thought about. during middle school was the worst.

Ironically, of all the things in my life I could say I'm sure about, the question I still have is "am I what could be called a 'Furry'?"

I honestly don't know, really. I find anthropormorphic animals enjoyable, but then, they're not really animals, per se. They're essentially a cross between human and animal, a bridge as it were. I've never really had any friends until relatively recently who were classed as Furry *bows to Oni* but I love animals themselves and, I would say, always identified with certain types of animals, seeing elements in myself.

My nickname- Rottweiler- has been around quite a long time, and in a lot of ways, fits me. (Oni? Your call on that?) But I've never really been around a lot of furries, or really been in many situations aside from professionally where I could 'let out' a version of myself more fitting a canine persona.

You know, as I write this, it occurs to me that a lot of things in my life could be considered my 'animal persona', considering a great deal of it has been involved with law enforcement and various security jobs, protecting people. I guess- ironically enough- the one part of any furry persona I may have that I really *haven't* explored is sexually, which from what I've seen in some furry communities is almost backward...

I don't know. I guess on some level, I need to explore this- it's a part of me, I should know more about myself in this area.

I was talking with a good friend of mine the other day, and we exchanged photographs since we hadnt seen each other in....7 years >_>

I showed him a picture of me wearing a tail in the privacy of my own home. Now this friend of mine is a fetishist extradionaire: if its made of leather or has chains on it, he owns it. His apartment is loaded with toys of the 'extreme persuasion.'

He takes one look at my tail photograph and says: "My god, you're sick! What the hell is wrong with you." Not a inkling of jest or satire in his voice.

Wooo wooo, here comes the clue train, and I'm the last stop...>_>

Ok, it took 3 pages just for you guys to read this description, that I think works best.

When you pet an animal, such as a dog, cat, rabbit, fox or w/e, you are rubbing fur. There for you are rubbing something that is furry.
If fishes were wishes the pond would be dry.
