Webcomic Idea
« on: 2008, April 15, 06:25:35 pm »
I have this idea for a webcomic for this website. But, I was wondering how many people are actually interested in it? If there are enough people interested I will post my idea.

Ugh, okay, since there are enough people interested...for now, I will share my idea for a webcomic for this site.

First of all, I want to get everyone involved in some way. So, all the people that are interested can create a character that will show up in the comic at some point. I want all these character to be completely original to get some creativity going and to really just have fun with it.

The comic will be about the GBLT community as seen from a straight mans point of view. This one will be the main character. He is involved with the GBLT community because he was adopted by a lesbian couple as a kid. The characters that you all create can be whatever you would like them to be. They will interact with the main character in his everyday life.

I want to make it a human and furry world, because I know a lot of the members of this community are furries. Sadly I can't really draw humans so you would all have to put up with my knock-off anime/manga style.

So, what do you say?

I'm available as a consultant on the GBLT community through a straight man's point of view aspect =3

Overall....sounds like a comic that would be very relevant to this website's content. How much are you thinking about making the plot focused on the straight vs. gay subject? I see it as being way to generate plot devices, but would still like to see a lot of story on other subject matter.

Interested in seeing more.

Other than a few conflicts, I would rather avoid straight vs. gay. I really want this to be a funny comic. Although I guess we can have more to it as long we can make light of it.

I didn't mean straight v.s gay as in contention. I was just referring to  the original "GBLT community as seen from a straight mans point of view." subject idea.

But yeah, definitely should be a funny comic foremost ^ ^

You do know that most of the furries here would use there fursona...So I do believe that is an origional character. Though I would have to see some of the story line.

I presume you owuld be the artist. Rachael would you be the writer, or how would the writing go? There coudl even be a colobration of a few people that work on the story.
Glad to be of Service.

I would rather not have "fursonas" only original characters.
