Greetings to you all. I am Dr. Butt, what furries call the "ANTHRO"-pologeist.  The reason why I have come to this site is that someone from this area requested I should.  So if you have any questions about the furry fandom/subculture simply ask me as I know more into the subject then anyone else in the world.  Even if you wish for a simply discussion please feel free to talk and ask.  So if you are a furry please feel free to talk and not to be shy, but until we meet again, good bye

Very nice to see you on the site. Glad to see you posting. I am sure you could break alot of the myths about us furries here.

I was wondering about myths of the furry fandom. How many have you found and are they true or not.

All furries are gay males

Furries are just emo children that can't fit in anywere.

Though I remember you mentioning that you have a paper on furries. I would be really intreaged to read it.

What is your opinion of the furry fandom?

Do you think there should be any corrections of the definition of furry thread here at the site?

Unlike Oni, I find claims like this difficult to swallow when presented behind a username on an internet forum.  Credentials, please.

Lol you see right through me!  To tell you the truth, I don't know any other way to come across.  I speak on the things I observe, and my observations can sometimes be pretty brutal.  I'm not intentionally mean, but I do come across as pretty abrasive.  Some, like you, accept that for what it is.  Others...not so much.  That's why I tell people that there's really no in-between with me: you either love me, or you hate my guts. ~.~

But, since the OP hasn't seen fit to respond to my polite request for credentials after 24 hours, it's time to blow this thread completely off its rails.

  My my my, quite the bit of subject change.

  As to the cridentials, well honestly if you were a norm would you take someone as myself seriously. A man being called Dr. Butt who studies a fandom which celebrates anthropomorphism, certainly not in these times, however I do have other past reputations when it comes to some of my other studies. 

  As for claiming to know more then anyone else on furries, well show me someone who knows more. I have already talked to this new kid on the block who has been dubbed Furry Guru (who happens to be gaining quite the bit of a reputation despite his young age). 

  I have tried many times to have many papers published on the furry fandom in the past, although sadly none were taken seriously despite my proven evidence. Most rescently a group of sociologeists were excited about my research and results into the fandom, however it was "a little too out there" for their standards. 

  I have made many enemies doing research into the fandom, both furry and non-furs since the actual subject can be very ethical at times, even very political. 

  There are many myths about the fandom, I would have to think a while to try and recount all the ones I have heard.  But before I start answering questions I must say if it is not too much trouble to keep each subject on subject and no harassment.

  The reason why I quit talking on forums is that too many people keep on with rude behavior and all it takes is for one shurd member to be dominant and do simply social tactics to change the room against you, quite easily done as I am sure you all have seen at somepoint in your past. If not then you more likely will in the future. If anyone has problems please feel free to say so, after all I was asked here and I do not need to stay if my pressance is unwanted. Although I will say do not be quick to judge.

Sure.  Oni, why don't you step over here for a minute?  This is my friend Oni Kitsune, and he easily knows more about furry fandom than you do.  Evidence?  Why, this entire site is evidence enough, and certainly more than you've put forth so far!

Despite the incorrect punctuation and misspelling, I assume this is a question; to which I answer: I am, as you so colloquially put it, a "norm," and I don't take you the slightest bit seriously.  Goes back to that whole lack of credentials thing.  Observe:

Well, here you're claiming you've written "many papers" with "proven evidence."  To be honest, if your "papers" are as misspelled and poorly punctuated as your forum posts, I wouldn't take them seriously either.  But, let's say such "papers" and "evidence" do, in fact, exist:  wanna share those papers or even just some of that there evidence with this community?

Well if you are going to claim to be an

, or claim to be anything for that matter. I would suggest backing it up. LOL it's just common politeness. Hell I claim to be alot of things but people don't believe me till I back it up. Claiming to be a God by far has been the hardest thing I have had to back up, and the only thing I can use to back it up is my omnipresent size ego. LOL You so far are only giving us hearsay.

Untill they have backed it up. Though Master brewers do have recipies and a paper trail to back it up, what really backs it up is a pint of there beer.  Something physical and hard core. LOL

Now I am not going to say you are not who you say you are. But I do have to agree that some evidence is required. LOL.

Now when it comes to TM's responses yay they are harsh and some times down right .... well hurtfull, but they tend to always be filled with good points....Unless I let him go wild, and then things get entertaining. But I want to keep this website around for a bit, so I even keep him in check. But most of the time, I don't stop what people have to say. LOL.

Though you will not get paid for it, you are fully, and very much encouraged, to post your papers here on this site. I would enjoy the read, and be curious to see what some ones opinion of the fandom is from 10+ years of studying it. Plus that "might" shut TM up. LOL. Unlikly. But it might. LOL.

Please do keep in mind that though even i may sound harsh, I am actually trying to hold a conversation, and find out more about you. Any one who claims to know alot about something I am very curious in, especially when it is something that I have a lifestyle in.

You will notice that through out this website alot of topic get derailed. It's kinda one of the hidden aspects of this site that make it work. If you like you are more than welcome to create a thread were we can ask you questions of furry nature and about you ect. Though to make apoint about how derailled a thread can get.... LOok at InkyDragons Intro thread. That thing is so derailed. LOL.

If anyone has problems please feel free to say so, after all I was asked here and I do not need to stay if my pressance is unwanted. Although I will say do not be quick to judge.

Now here is something interesting. All are welcome on this site, hell even the very stupid and shallow minded people are welcome here and encouraged to post. But keep in mind that there are many personalities online and IRL and all are welcome to post here. Weather or not Every single member will like what you have to say, or even type back to you in a politicaly correct and respectable manor. Is up to them. As the owner of this site, I can say that only 1 person has ever had there IP address blocked, and that was for comeplete disregard to this site. I believe in freedom of speach and discussion.

If you don't like what some one says, respond, dont respond, ingore it, move on, make a new thread, point it out to me, talk to them about it, deal with it, ect. Do what you like. that's  what makes forums forums. Just remember to have fun and take things with a grain of salt, especially what you see and hear on the net.
