Hello Out there
« on: 2008, July 24, 12:42:22 pm »
Hi I just joined the site...Frankie87 sent me over ;D. I moved to AK about a year ago, and still have not met to many Ppl here... I moved here from Savannah Ga (where Ive lived all my life) so this is a big change. I feel a bit exposed and venerable here being that EVERYONE I know and love in back home... But I guess you have to grow up and move on at some point and start living your own life...so here I am. I am 22 and I have 2 dogs (a lab-pit mix and a boxer-pit mix). They are my world.... okay well I guess I'm done for now... see ya around

Is that a picture of you in your avatar?  If so, you're very pretty.

Yeah, Oni called me up and denounced me for "flirting with his members" after he saw that post.  I told him that I didn't want nothin' to do with his "member," and the conversation devolved from there.  Seems to me like you took it in exactly the spirit it was meant in: a genuine unconditional compliment. ;D

Phooey on you, Oni!

Welcome to Alaska, Nickie.  I lived in Valdosta, Georgia for a while when I was a kid, so I know what kind of acclimating you're having to go through right now.  Doubly so, in fact: we moved up here from southern California in September 1990.  I went from being used to 110ºF in-the-damn-shade temperatures to having to get used to highs of 45ºF.

Lol Well yes I did take it as a genuine compliment, but I suppose that its good that someone is looking out for ppl b/c I am so naive and gullable I would have never known if you had other intentions. LoL but anywho I do miss the sunshine and the beach, but as far as anything else the place could have set on fire behind me and I would have cared none the less...Nothing but heart ache and bad times were left (with the exception of a few friends and family)...

Well Nickie, it's awesome to see you here! Glad you joined us  :) yaG is a group Oni hosts at his house on Fridays. It used to be every other Friday, but he recently changed it to every Friday. I've never been to it, so I'm sure other members on the site can tell you more about it.

I've never been to it, either.  Oni's afraid of my wife, so I try to keep the two separated as much as possible.

Hell ya I am afraid of your wife, she has a tounge sharper than the devil and can cut me down with one word.
Fox said he want's to see that, i told him simply being in the area when it happens would get him cought in aftershocks of my ego crushing. LOL.

At anyrate.

!yaG is a group I host every week for young adults. A place were they can come and have discussons, have a good time, learn, meet friends, and just be queer*. It's not often  but it has been known to happen that they are as corny as it sounds. But really it's fun. And it's for everybody.

We gotta OHHH SHINIE *gets distracted chasing after a shiny*

*note not using queer to mean gay.
Glad to be of Service.

That's his attempt at being Pee-Cee.  Most gays consider "queer" to be derogatory, do they not?

Nothing is wrong with being queer as in gay, cause god knows I am pretty queer. But also i wanted to use a word correctly for a change. LOL.
