*~This is a story I  have been working on for a very long time. Its one of my many current stories. Its got a slight truth to it, but its a fictional setting. So yeah. lol.. Enjoy. Oh and don't hestitate to comment. Expecially if you have some ideas, or see any errors..~*

Azumi Tsukiyama & Takayuki Hiyama

Setting: Fedual Japan, Time of the samurai and the early ninja. A time where Japan’s goverment itself was falling apart into small family runned factions, or rather clans. These clans battling eachother for power and their honor. Just as it seemed matters couldnt get worse, The Hiyama family decide to make terms with Tsukiyama family. The two family’s history together all but lovely. Yet is it possible the two can push aside their differences and work in peace? Or will their efforts end in blood shed and deciet?.
.
Esc.: The art of pain and suffering, this story betrays those, and the feeling of loss love, when it first was gain. A heart wrenching story, of love, lust, and a loss. What it feels to lose what was just gained. A personal and semi true story. By bottling up my emotions and expressing them on this story, I will show you more then just my truths, but my weaknesses, and my pains and lies.

It was a fine spring evening, the breeze from the north nearly died down to a mere whisper amoungst the recently blossoming cherry trees. The golden and pink skies from west, lightening up the high mountain tops that surrounded the small town. The village itself settled deep within the crevis of the two mountains. Hidding itself from harm. The river from the glarcier mountain tops running down the narrow streets to the bottom of the hill where a large pond formed. Local farmers and fisherman homes living on the outside of the pond. The pond itself still, only to move with the occasional coy moveing. Yet just as the wind shifted down upon the smooth green grass below it seemed this small village was very peaceful. Yet deep down, even this small village had its secrets.
Just as nightfall began to settled its heavy black blanket over the mountains, people in the village began to pack up their belongings from the markets and head home. Amoungst them was Takayuki ((aka yuki)). A young lad to be in a market full of old ladies, yet it was his fathers will that sent him there. Word of a possible spy lurking in the shadows at the down town square had caught his attention and he immediatly volunteered to look into it. It was only when he had just started to give up, did he find a clue. Hidden deep within an alley way, on the way to one of the many food courts, was a small throwing dagger digged into the wall. On the hilt of the small blade and simple white note. Reaching forward he retrieved the dagger and its note, only looking over his shoulder for a minute then returning to his new found belongings.
Yuki stood about five six, a very tall man compared to most. His frame was somewhat slender, yet under the folds of clothes he wore was the result of years training. His skin and muscles deeply defined, his skin itself smooth to the touch, yet scorched near his scar over his right collar bone. A mark he would never forget. His long brown hair at shoulder length tied back into a small pony tail. Although a martial artist, he refused to allow himself to get so into it that he was forced to have a top knot. Yet dispite his tastes, his talent was far more then just a novice. Being the second heir of the Hiyama family he was often sought after for small politcal debates. Most ending in violence, by his short temper and easy methods of settling things his way. Yuki was the top ninja in the family, although his missions were kept secret, his training he let everyone know about.
Most of the village girls would gawk and stare as he did his morning runs through the town, only once did he stop to help some of his friends on guard duty. If he wasnt spot training, then he was down by the lake. Anything to get away from his father, and his brother who he felt was a nunsense. Indeed it wasnt just his brown hair that set him apart from that family. Often and many times he wondered if he was even apart of the family.
Smirking to himself stashing the small letter into his right poket of his dirty white training clothes. Moveing back up a trail towards a well lit house on the very top of the village road. The temptation in itself to regrab the letter and read it, was both a bothering subject, and an interesting. His oath to his father was strong, yet his gut feeling was even stronger. Finally stopping half-way up the hill by a large oak tree. The tree itself bigger then most wells, reaching a massive height of a fourty foot cliff. Letting his back rest firmly against the tree. Looking up at the crystal stars blinking above his head as he dug at his pocket for the small parchment of paper.
Fumbling the paper open, his dark eyes looking down at the paper seeing the small black ink read:

Hiyama,

It has come to my attention that you recently made a proposal to your
long time enemy the Tsukiyama family.  The standards in itself, not even
the elders would agree to. I myself, a noble , understand this agreement.
Yet as the storm thickens to the north and west, I can only hope for the best.
My forces alone in power, are not enough to protect this rumor. So I
do the honors or cleaning my hands of all of this. The supposed arranged
marriage betweent the two family's will be neither helpful, nor productive
in saving the lands of our forefathers. Yet you ask, why would I go through
the trouble in bringing one of my men forward with this note? The truth is,
as much as I loath your family, the Tsukiyama family is a force not to recon with.
Having to personally deal with their wrath, there is a traitor amoungest them.
I bid you great fortune, and maybe the possibilty to find this so called traitor.
If and when you do, I would greatly appreciate it if you dispose of the nunscense of life.
               Signed,
                                                              Tokru Hayamashi
