Group Story 1.0

[Rachael]

Perie looked at the gaping hole in his wall and shook his head sadly.  “Well, this will make the house rather difficult to sell.”

Glina nodded.  “I suppose we could sell it as a work of art instead.  There was that man who got $400,000,000,000 for a drop of water in a sandbox.”

The next day, Glina prepared a picnic lunch for Dave and everyone else to take along.

“I don’t know what cats eat,” she said, looking uncomfortable, “so I packed some tuna.”

I hate tuna, thought Mr. Meow.  But he was happy that Glina thought of him.  “Thank you,” he purred.

Glina smiled slightly, then turned to Dave.  “Well, good luck to all of you.”

“What?  You’re not coming with us?” Dave complained.

Perie laughed and shook his head.  “No, I’m afraid we’d just get in the way.  But we’ll be alerting the authorities of the little girl’s disappearance.”

“That’s good,” said Dave.  “But they should know they stand against a very powerful woman.”

“I object,” interrupted Mr. Meow.

“Oh?”

“Calling the authorities would be a mistake,” he explained.  “That woman is a loose cannon.  I saw her once before, many years ago.  That was the one time, in all my nine lives, I felt true terror.”

“What’s he saying?” asked Perie.

“He’s saying not to tell the authorities,” Dave answered.

[Oni]

"The group set out on there marry way. One human, One Cat, and one Kitsune with no name. A very odd carbonation indeed" Perie thought to him self, As he sat staring at the witting in the ground the cat had etched there.

"So long and thanks for all the fish" It read.

The cat chuckled to him self thinking about the message he left for Perie, wondering if the old man would ever get it. That joke being almost as old as the one he would play with Dave every morning. But really it was his way of saying thank you for the tuna and leaving a subtle on going joke through time.

"How far to the mountain?" Dave inquired sitting next to Mr. Meow on the train.

[Crimson]

"Its going to be long enough that you should take a nap for the hike we will need to take after the train has come to our stop." replied Mr.Meow

And so Dave decided that a nap was indeed inorder.

[Zev The Dog]

As Dan slipped into a dreamworld, Mr Meow and the Kitsune began talking amongst themselves, in a language incomprehensible to those at the trainstop.

"Why have you reappeared, after so many centuries hiding?" Mr Meow asked?

"Because of that book. It must not fall into the hands of the Empress and her toady." The Kitsune twirled loose hair in his clawed hand.

"Ah, that white bloke? You still havent told me who he is? He doesnt have the smell of a vrughuan on him...are you two related?"

The Kistune smirked, "Related? He was my pupil, a very long time ago when humanity was still young..."

[Oni]

As Lulu’s eyes opened and she awoke from her slumber she noticed that she was covered in fluffy furs of all colors of the rainbow. She pulled the cover’s back to get up, noticing that she was wearing a fabric that seemed airless and proper for a girl of her age. But she wasn’t royalty she thought to her self, feeling like a princess for a moment.

“I see your awake child.” The Lady from the forest spoke. “My name is Alganis, I am an old friend of your feline companion. Would you like some morning Tea?”

Lulu approached the lady and sat at the table with her, with out fear or heasatation, she felt safe here. Where ever here was.

“Were are my friends? Where is Mr. Meow? Who are…”

She was cut off by the Lady. “So many questions for such a young child. Sit calm yourself, enjoy the tea. I will tell you what you need to know, but for now, just simply relax for a moment, No one can hurt you here.”

Time passed as they talked girly stuff Lulu enjoying the chance to feel safe for a moment in her life, though always wondering why.

“I took you away from your friends so that they had a chance to catch up to you, and go through some trials before reaching you. They are not ready for the quest you are about to take them on. It will be about a week before they arrive here so please enjoy yourself”

“Quest?” Lulu looked up in question.

Alganis simply nodded and sipped her tea. “During your time here, I will teach you how to open your mind, and so you may learn why Lady Cybil is after you.” You are a special child my dear. You will help Mr. Meow find the past he lost, and Dave bring the present to a new future from the past.

“But I am only twelve….How can I do all those things you say?”

“Time my dear, time.”




“You never told me you took a pupil” Mr. Meow inquired to the Kitsune.

“You never asked” He replied playfully.

“I suppose” The cat was interrupted as the train was coming to its destination “Oh excuse me I have to do something.” Ending his conversation with the Kitsune he jumped up on Dave and started pawing at his face.

Dave woke up in a start to two big round feline eyes staring up at him.

“Good morning Dave. Would you like to play a game?”

The Kitsune cocked his head to the side and droped his jaw. “You did not just wake him up that way” he asked.

Dave just nodded as they got off the train “Yes he did, he always does”

The Kitsune just chukled to himself. “Well we are in this town we should pick up what ingredients we need before we head up Mt. Shyamoto, it’s a good weeks walk from here.

[Oni]

"So here we have three travelers on a Journy to get a leaf." The Kitsune remarked as they headed out of town after collecting there supplies.

"Flower.!" Dave Corrected him

"Herbal Ingredient" The cat hissed back at them.

They all had a quite chuckle. "Well what ever it is called We all know what we are looking for" Dave commentented.

About two days into there travels they come to the base of the Mountian. Mr. Meow stops by the edge of a river back and looks wearily at it. "Ya there is no way I am crossing that river." He says abruptly as the hair on his back stands up and he claws his way up Daves back and onto his shoulder startling the poor guy.

"Whats the matter with you" Dave ask's not noticing that the Kitsune had disapeared in the cat's fright. "It's just a little water, it wont hurt you."

As Dave aproaches the water it retracts from the shore line and sucks it's self up to form a human shaped figure still very fluent. "The waters of this planet forbid you to travel up this Mountian." The water speaks in a girgling voice.

Mr. Meow is Hissing and standing very anerved on Dave's shoulders. So much so that he is clawing at him.

Dave trips over a rock behind him as steps back confused and unsure what to do. He had read about these spirits in many books but never thought he would see one, course he never thought he would have a talking cat iether, so it wasn't all that weird to him. Mr. Meow runs to dart up a tree but the water Spirit grabs him and holds him over hte river, soakng the feline with it's wet make shift water blob hands. Dave picks up a stick and throws it at the water entitiy trying to distract it and get him to drop Mr. Meow.

"Hay Bob stop messing with my friends." A voice from the river bank on the other side is heard. Dave and Mr. Meow turn there heads and look. There was The Kitsune' settin up camp and getting a fire started.

"You always ruin my fun." The water spirit said throwing the cat to the other side of the river, and grabing Dave quickly and bringing him over as well, Dave was so scared and and confused as he was being caried over the river..by water. The water threw him down on the rough ground, "Hay!" he shouts. Did you have to warm my hand like that?" He asks Dave who is still confused and now wet.

Mr. Meow lands in a tumbling thud at the Kitsune's feet and Shakes him self dry, Shooting a dirty look up at his furry companion. "I knew I reconized that water from some were. You could have warned us Ya know."

The water forms it's self into a feeble old man and walks up next to Dave "Is this more apealing for you, Sorry about ruffing you up back there, When I saw that Fox comming I just knew I had to try and get him." He tried to explain to Dave.

"As usuall you get the rest of us instead, AND ALWAYS ME" The cat snarled at Bob.

"Oh is that you Mr. Meow. I just thought it was another wet rat." Bob shot back.

"that's  enough you two." The Kitsune chimed in "So how long you been following us Bob?" Asked the Fox as he was finishing up building his shelter for the night.
