But this is were you can post your comments about what has been said in the story so far. That way the story it's self is not interupted.

I like what I've written so far.  In fact, I like it so much that I'm afraid my personal feelings as an author are going to get in the way with just doing something fun with my friends.  I worry that I'll freak out if something happens that I don't like.

If I feel myself starting to take things too seriously, I'll pull out from the project until I can get my act together.  I don't want to ruin the fun for everyone.

[Oni]

Yesh I would like to say the same. i like what you have written so far. And think that this story will go an interesting direction, how ever it leads. I do have some plans and tricks up my sleave held out.

So lets see who else goes next. Any one can go next even Rachael again if she likes. Just so long as you dont post right after yourself, you are good to post after some one else. Maybe Rosa, Fox, Keldon, Kritter, or even Crimson will post. I would love to see everyone get in on this story.

Ooh, a kitty.  Haha, Mr. Meow.  And a kitty talking...

You know, that's strange, because I actually thought of adding a talking dog to the story.  I mean, this is hundreds of thousands of years into the future--who knows what animals can do then?  I mean, right now we have gorillas who can learn sign language...not to mention those birds that know thousands of human words.

I wonder what Earth would look like in 250,000 years...I was going to look it up, but then I thought, "...Nah."

Hehe. Plans I have. But plans of misdirection. For you see no matter how this story goes Oni has a plan. Thought about this I have. Enjoyed it I will. Were to look to see wha the earth would look like in time, I have no idea, but would be curious to learn.

...Why do I get the feeling that no one else is paying attention to this story...?

Ya I got that feeling as well.
Well it's your turn then if you want to write the next bit to the story.

I asked Rosa, and she said she wants to write something...she's just having trouble figuring out what to add.  I believe she is still somewhat confused about the plot.

that's  the fun of a group story. there is not always a plot or direction.

Um...this is just a suggestion, of course.  I'm not saying you have to do this, but I kind of think a story is more fun if there is some sort of plot and direction.  What do you say to the idea of stopping where we are and then brainstorming a little?  Of course, this is all just speculation, and we don't have to if not everyone agrees to it.

Meow, what I like about group stories (and i have done a few in my past) is no one knows how the story will develope or go, or how the characters will grow. My suggestion is to let the story naturaly grow it's self. Does it make sense what I am saying.

I understand, and it doesn't bother me; I have enough experience with writing to be able to take hold of a story.  I think, though, some other people may find it too confusing if there isn't at least some sort of vague plot.  All I said was that it is a treasure-hunting story; it has now turned into a treasure-hunting story about an archaeologist named Dave and his talking cat.  Dave is looking for a giant book.

Rosa has some ideas she's shared with me, and I really like the sound of them.  She may be stepping up to bat next.

The Treasure Hunting should be about as much of a theme that I think should be put on it I think. LOL. any more than that, and I think it would be a bit to much control.
