You also have dust in your air that I hear makes the air worse than New York air. Plus our 4 degrees must be hot to you. lol
Glad to be of Service.

I think we all got a nice dose of dust with those windy days a week ago or so :P It was pretty thick here, but we still went mountain climbing heh heh.

As for Fairbanks having less people and being easier access to the woods, I think that's all of Alaska minus the Anchorage area :P

There are quick access to the wilderness even in anchorage, there are places you can go that you forget you are in town. You just have to know were to look.

But Fairbanks has its upside LESS PEOPLE, easier access to the woods, enough to keep me up here.

And even though Fairbanks has its share of crazy people, they tend to keep to themselves more, compared to the crazy people in Anchorage that'd probably stab you on the street.

Maybe I get scared too easily, or maybe I was naive, but when I lived in Fairbanks, I could go out at night and not be paranoid about being jumped by someone, so I'd ride my bike to and from a friend's house on my own.  In Anchorage, I'm usually too afraid to go outside alone at night, people are nuts in this town.

Although that's not enough for me to want to move back to Fairbanks, lol.  The only people that I think like Fairbanks are crazy people/criminals trying to avoid their problems, and people that reaaaaally like the cold/dark/outdoors.  Everyone else must just be stuck there, possibly half frozen in ice, lol.
