I heard your party was great and the beer was tasty. although i never doubted it.
wish I could have been there, but being thousands of miles away was a bit of a obsticle. i had a good time too, though. had a 4 day camping-party with lots of friends. and yes, we had lots of beer and wine too, as well as good food on the grill ;)
Please, by all means, ignore this message!

I had a grand time; TMAK, you failed to point out that BGA is a "real, REALLY GOOD beer!"  Says the wizened panegyrist for the alcopop faction...

Three [Bronx] Cheers for our hosts, and their impeccable staff!

And thanks, very much, for putting so pleasant a period to the season: I look forward to your next season's offerings!

Yrs,

Rake

Well, *you* were bartending, it's not our fault the beer was just so damn good that it went before you could have any.  Then again, you were in the prime position to pour yourself one.

Oh, and in case I failed to mention it, godDAMN that was some good beer.

And a great party.  Nice meeting the new kids that showed up! XD

It's funny I showed that pic to Karl at work and he said the same thing.

OK -- I know it's a little late, but let me step up to the challenge of reviewing the BGA brought to us by TMAK.

I should preface this review with the disclaimer: I'm not a fan of beer.  I don't even really like queerbeers [Zima, Mike's, etc.] despite my emminent Queerdom.

All that said: the BGA was a BIG SUCCESS!

A refreshing drink, with none of the heavy-handed hoppiness that is the downfall of so many commercial brews and homebrews, alike; effervescent and pleasantly-tart, with no cloying aftertaste.

It should come as no surprise that TMAK placed well with the other brews he took to the State Fair; our gain, at the party, was the judges' loss, at the fair...

To round out my paen to BGA: I drank an entire glass of BGA at the party, and was happy to do so.  It was a delightful note in the chorus of mixed drinks that TMAK was sliding across the bar.  Good work, TMAK!  I look forward to tasting your future efforts -- but don't tell my wine-snob buddies I said so!

 ;D
