Do you or have you ever lived in Alaska? Are you queer? If the answer to those questions is yes, Bona Fide Books would like to hear from you.

Bona Fide is a small press that publishes “provocative and adventurous literature.” They are compiling a collection of stories -- Queer in the Last Frontier -- that will explore the being gay or lesbian in Alaska. They are looking for it all --- from young to old and everything in between. They want to know what it was like to grow up there.

If you story is accepted you will receive $100 and a copy of the collection. They are looking for completed stories no longer than 5,000 words. Submissions can be by hard copy or email and must be postmarked no later than February 5, 2010.
