My suits and progress!!

Since I've last posted on here, I've made about 7 suits.   I think 5 totally completely by myself, and 2 others that I helped friends with.

ANYWAYS here's some pics.  Three of the fursuits I made were of the same character, I was OBSESSED with perfecting my fursona.  So I'll just post the most recent one.

I can also wear my suit as a partial... I've done it a lot since my body suit kinda broke and needs repairs.  T~T



AND here's my newest suit, she's a pink doggy (husky/corgi/german shepherd mix).  SHE STILL NEEDS HAIR, and a few other things... but she's wearable.  I made her as a partial for times when I didn't wanna go fullsuiting, but I'm gonna make her some digi-legs for fun, I decided.





I have more pics, one is a commission, but I don't like how the pics look that much.  I also have videos, lots of videos.  But I don't wanna seem to self-centered.  <___>

I WANNA GO FURSUITING, SOMEONE GO FURSUITING WITH ME.  I'll be wearing the pink one since poor Kivuli's body needs work (haha, no seriously) and she doesn't make a great partial.

Oni - Thank you so so much!  That makes me all happy inside.  x3  They are "two" cute because there's two of them.  ;3  (I'm not trying to be a smartass).

Dom - Yes I do take commissions, but I'm busy working on two at the moment.  I'll open back up once I finish the ones I started.  I have limeted work space so it's really hard.  =\  

Partials are around $250, more or less depending on what quality of fur you want.  I am willing to haggle, especially for local buyers I don't mind doing it for cheaper.  ^^

-EDIT- I don't do fullsuit commissions, I'm not confident enough.  But I'd be happy to help you make one.  It's easier if the person is actually there to try it on.  I just don't trust myself with measurements.   ^^

well, let me know when you start taking commissions again,and i would be absolutly thrilled with a partial (maybe I'll have you help me make it into a full some day XD) and i love your suits there awesome! by the way you should think about ebay or something cuz i bet you could make some mass cash that way (hope its not to soon when you take commissions again, no moneys x.x)

Well, I could make these next two suits in two weeks if I had the motivation.

Sadly I feel burnt out... so it'll probably take about two and a half months to finish them, with all the other stuff I'm trying to do, also.

I'd love to make you a partial.  If you're not busy I could just help you make a partial and it would be cheaper.  But you sound busy, lol.

It's fine, I'm glad you don't mind waiting, and I understand what it's like to be broke. T.T

hes a cheetah (im not really busy i just have school mon-fri)yeah if you want to help me that would be cool then i would sorta know how to fix it if i broke it. 

but other than school and my sacred sunday snowboarding im almost never busy lol

i second Dom, i would do anything for at least a partial, money is only really big issue, well i do have late afternoon classes on tuesdays and thursdays. like start at four, than spanning until like almost 7 i think. if i had one i would totally go suiting, i am more outgoing behind a mask, as long as no one sees who i am  i can say or do just about anything lol

  STUPID MONEY agghh.  Like I said to Jariph, I'm will to haggle if you'd like to pay a smaller price.  My suits started out at $140 for the whole thing, I'm willing to go even lower, as long as it covers the cost of supplies.  ^^   I'm not completely in it for the money.   I don't understand why most fursuit makers charge thousands of dollars for them.  D:  (well actually I can, I'd prolly charge that much if I was making that many suits, lol).

yeah i could definitely cover the cost of supplies just don't know when. lol. i hate being 17 and in school i have to waste so much time on trying to keep my grades up that i cant get a job.it sucks.but i could come up with the cash for supplies (might already have it, bank of grandma sent me cash for xmas) but we will see cuz my uncle still hasn't givin it to me...(he's such a waste of space,but once hes gone i'll have room for my suit lol)

 how much would it be to start on it,like how much are the supplies for it to start on it? no hurry on it though like i said i don't mind waiting.

Sorry for the short reply...

BUT to start out, supplies would cost about $20 (most of it is for glue, haha) to build the entire head, without fur.

There's a really poor selection of fur in Anchorage.  It costs about $10 - ~14 a yard.  If you want to order fur, that'll be way expensive.  I think local stuff could work, personally.  

The biggest problem is that I'm already working on two commissions and I need to finish them ASAP.  Although I can work on several suits at once, that makes it easier, somehow...  =|  So I wouldn't mind starting on yours.   But it's no rush, really.

  That's fine.  Like I said, I need to finish the suits I have already started.  I'm technically not supposed to start on any new suits 'till I finish what I have, but local commissions are somewhat of an exception.  I think it would start out as $20 at the lowest, or at the very lowest, $15.  ^^  And I'd like to meet up regardless.  We could hang out with Kit/Chem/whatever his name is on here.  XD  The otter.  :3  Since he's a good friend of mine.  It'd make it less awkward for me since I have social anxiety.

OMG yay 17.  Yes, make me feel old.     Not really, hahaa.   As said above, I'm not supposed to take any more fursuit commissions till I finish the ones I'm working on.  But local since local commissions are a lot easier, I don't mind making a few exceptions.   Just not too many, gah.  x__x  I feel a lil' overwhelmed as it is.

I'll post an official commission thread with prices and how I build my suits and such.  Sadly, as much as it may seem so, I am NOT a professional fursuit builder.  You may or may not like how it feels, fits, etc.  Gah.

by the looks of ot you make a pretty good fursuiter. i actually think its great quality for what you charge. gonna set aside money right now, take as along as you need to finish i guess. i wouldnt want to overwhelm you even more, just at this point i want to have the money for you, i can go without money for fast foon, i have dining dolars for food on campus, fast food will just make me fat...i dont want that lol. so whenever, no rush, take your time, perfect what you need to. hehe. still havent met otter boi, actually been preocupied either by class or by roommates, i shall go otter hunting soon though lol. my mom is gonna freak if she finds out i spent money on yet another costume type deal, i usually spend a lot of money on hallowwen masks and costumes just for the hell of it. she said if i get another costume thiing she will get rid of some of my older ones lol.
