Testing the Waters: Forum RP?

So, I have been, for a long time, a huge fan of forum RPs. If you don't know what that means, it means, you make a character, give him/her skills and a background and such, and then basically write a story together with a group of people. I was talking to Oni about it, and he suggested that I offer to run one here.

So basically here's the deal - Anyone who's interested, throw it up here. I'm open to running fantasy, sci-fi, etc... Basically anything but just "real life" roleplay, because I think that just lends itself to cybering and stuff and I find things like that really distasteful on a public forum. So, ideas? Discussion?

Just kidding, lol.  I lost my taste for online roleplaying years ago, unfortunately, I used to RP on MUDs a lot when I was younger.   I hope you'll have luck finding people that are interested though, if there gets to be an RP thread that seems successful, we could add an "RP Section" to the forum strictly for roleplaying threads if people wanted more than just one.

I haven't played a MUD in forever. I never really got into it, though, which might be why.
