Furmeet X
« on: 2010, April 19, 10:03:53 am »
I think I am just making up numbers now, because I am pretty sure we have had more than 10 meets especially if you count parties. LOL

Anyway. This next furmeet I would like to put together a planning and discussion about a party in May. most likly towards the 3rd week of May. Since we just had a party.

I do understand that there is a Holiday called "May Day" It's on the first. Sorry that's  to early to host another party. lol

Having a Mayday like SOS party might be fun.
/sings SOS the tiger took my family

What would you guys like to discuss and do at this weeks furmeet?
We could plan the invasion of KWAL now that we have enough suiters. hehe.

April 23
6pm
534 Flower Street
Glad to be of Service.

I think it would be fun to do another music-game night, like DDR or Rockband or something if other people are interested.

Not that I give a damn about furmeets, but did you not get my messages regarding May Day?  I explained how it's a (pagan!) celebration of the end of winter and coming of summer, and usually involves a boatload of flowers.  I even suggested some drinks that the bar could specialize in.  Are you really saying that you won't take my suggestions about decorating with a floral theme and having a bonfire to "banish the long nights of winter" into consideration?

...Evidently that's exactly what you're saying.  Honestly, why do I even bother?

For the record: the "S.O.S." thing is unworkable, at best.  How would you translate that into a decorating theme?  How would it apply to your cookout food selection?  Costumes?  Drinks?? (Hey, I'm the bartender, I get paid to think about the drinks.)  At some point you should probably admit that somebody is bound to have a better idea than yours.

What the hell is "KWAL?!"  Never heard of it.

I've heard of KWHL, though.  Local radio station, been programmed into my car stereo for years.  If you plan on taking your animal troop in there, however, you should probably be aware that "Mark the Hitman" didn't get his nickname because of anything he did in the radio business....  (He likes high powered rifles.)

I'd be glad to bring my Wii with its 2GB of RB2 DLC.  I saw a set of RB2 drums upstairs, but I don't know what system they're for.  So, I'll bring instruments too, if they're needed.  I've done some expensive mods to my drums, but they're pretty bulletproof so I'm not concerned about damage.

But only if Amber sings for us. ;D

* Oni C@ sigh

I did get your message, and consumed its info. Short of you and Fox and Amber I have not even had a chance to discuss it with people. Hence...

This next furmeet I would like to put together a planning and discussion about a party in May.

Never once did I dismiss your idea. You simply assumed I did. Least ya know how to make an ass out of both of us at the same time. lol I do find the idea kinda weird to host a party for a holiday a week or two after the holiday. LOL.

Course you do know that if we do a Mayday party there will have to be a May Pole, and you know were that will lead......

FURRY STRIPPERS!

Decorating the house in flowers, Is an entertaining idea. Again, have not had a chance to talk it over with people.

So since TMAK has jumped the gun from this Friday to now, and to be discussed on Friday.

Is there any input people would like to have as far as a Party in May goes? Any themes, ideas, thoughts, Drink themes, Food and munchies, planing and fund raising.

Glad to be of Service.

...You honestly think I'd be opposed to you furries taking off your ridiculous costumes?

Man, I thought you knew me. O.o;

In light of the fact that I am highly unlikely to show up at a "furmeet," does it not make sense that I would attempt to discuss my own input on the subject here and now?  Am I the only one to whom this would seem to be a sensible and reasonable thing to do?

Naked furry?  O.o;  That's kind of an oxymoron, don't you think?

You know after discussing this idea I might just have to encourage TMAK's Mayday Idea.

The idea of a Spring Goddess showing up the party sparked my interest, and I am sure the barkeep wont mind. LOL.

Have you looked outside?  Here comes more snow!  I think we're gonna need that Goddess of Spring to banish that sh** for good....
