Kalitas backstory

this is part of the back story for my character Kalitas. i am not sure if i will be able to make additional parts. if people here like my writings please say so, and please tell me how to improve. i might submit more writings on here. its a bit short, remember its only a part and not the whole story (that's  how i work i make a little part and then submit it.)

   The grey fox laid on the roof of a tall building. The light of the moon shined on his exhausted body. In his hand was a sheathed sword that had a large purple crystal on its pommel. He held the blade over his head so he could look at it "you were hard to get." he told the blade as he hid it on his cloak, the blade lost its physical form and became a part of his cloak.
   As he closed his eyes to get some rest, he heard something metallic land on the far end of the roof and knew what it was. The metallic being went over to the fox and moved its hollow skull of a face towards him and appeared to smell him. It then grabbed him with its mouth. The fox knew better than to resist it.
   When the being was at its destination it dropped the fox on to the ground, and the fox got a look at it and remembered why he called anything of its kind "it". he heard footsteps coming closer to him and saw that is was a lioness clad in a dark blue robe that had no sleeves revealing an intricate patch work of metal replacing her upper arms acting as indicator of her being of the city's noble class.
   The lioness grabbed the fox by the collar of his shirt and lifted him off the ground with a strength that belied her look. "Kalitas you are under arrest for stealing from a noble house." she said in a gruff tone. "The sentence is a year in jail, but if you return what you stole your  sentence will be cut in half to-." she was cut on mid-sentence as Kalitas impaled her with a claw like weapon.
   "you my dear talk too much." he said as he impaled the lioness. He then pulled the claw out of her. The claw faded revealing it to be his hand. "my time in this city is over with. I have what I came for." He said as a pair of draconic wings grew out of his back and he flew off.
