Hello everyone, My name is Loren and I am NOT new to beautiful Alaska.  However I am new to this wonderful site in which ONI has introduced me to. My main goal is to learn about what events are going on in our community and to possibly  become more involved. I have an extremely busy life style but there is always room for more FUN!

Welcome to AKC!  I can't really put an answer in your poll because I'm more of a "I'd rather stay inside unless it's raining" kind of guy.

I'm wondering, how do you handle being around Oni at all?  lol

I think the events you'd hear about most here would be mostly things that interest Oni, or sometimes TMAK, there aren't a whole lot of other people that post events.  So you'll end up seeing a lot of things like the state fair, the Three Barons Fair, the Beer and Barleywine Festival, and a lot of gay community events (at least between now and the end of June).  Oni also occasionally posts over larger events that he hears about as well though.

HAHA.. He is not as big of a bullshitter as most people are. Plus he is a lot of fun to hang out with! I think that I might be able to add some more Anchorage events on here. We will see!

You forgot to mention the Air Show and the grand opening of the Thomas Planetarium. =(

And TMAK, you can paint the town AFTER brewing beer. The two go hand in hand quite nicely!
