Okay who really  uses ICQ or Aim anymore? I have accounts on them just have not touched them..... in well years.  Anyone remember when ICQ was the sh**?

I used ICQ for a very short time... until I forgot the random number they gave me.  I hated it for that.

I still use AIM though, although I don't really talk to many people on it anymore.  It's probably my preferred messenger other than MSN.

Stopped using ICQ when I discovered that MSN has better spam policing.  Never looked back.  Never even considered AIM because AOL needs to be collectively drug out into the street and shot in the throat for all the unsolicited CDs they've mailed every US citizen with a permanent address over the years.

In fact, with my preference for Open Source, I'd switch to Jabber if I thought for a moment that I could get any of the rest of my contacts to do the same.

Okay come on really. who uses IRC's anymore either. There only good for finding .... oHHHHHH now I know why you use them. LOL.

I use AIM, but only through my phone, where I just leave it open on a constant basis. I only talk to two or three people on there, and they're people who can't call/txt me.
