I just thought that this might be a good place to bring the Alaska Humane Society's Adopt-A-Cat shelter to everyone's attention. They are a non-profit and a no-kill shelter for cats. There are a lot of ways that you can help them out. You can send someone who is looking to adopt a cat their way, you can volunteer to help them care for all the cats, you can donate or just stop by and love on the cats! They are located on 1224 E. 76th Avenue, Anchorage, AK. The people there are very nice and if you like cats this is a great place to visit!
