It's time for my introduction too!

Here's my Gordian knot, I don't know where to start, so I'll "cut" to the chase with this:

I'm from Italy, I'm 23, just recently moved to AK. I am a proud member of the US Air Force. Even though I am a cuddle whore I am straight, very open minded (I blow people's mind usually) and I'm here to look for a good furry community to help me get to know more my "furry side".

Since I was a kid I always liked Anthros (grew up watching scooby doo, swat kats and ghostbusters ). And I lived with cats most of my life, until I left Italy.

It all started about 8 years ago when a teacher said that I was like a "gatto sornione" (It's kind of like the Cheshire cat in Alice... Likes to sit in high places unfazed by the world below and likes to cause mischief). That got me thinking about the question: Am I really that much of a "cat"?

In the following months and years more and more people were making comments or fun of me in a "cat" like way...

That was also in combination with being a big nerd/dork/shut in kid I used to go online and "hide" my dorkiness behind random feline fursonas. That was all fur and games but it was more like an hobby that grew more and more on me in different ways.

I used to spend a lot of time with my cats in Italy and I had many over the years. So far most cats that are timid or scared of strangers open up easily with me and I guess that something of a cat personality has rubbed off on me.

That became more and more true with the years and I remember that the most common reference that I got before leaving was that a lazycat like me would have never made it where I am right now. But here I am! NYEEEEE :3

Yeah sorry for the tangent, back on furry:P

I started "coming out" as a furry when I was in training for my job. Two of my best friends in training school pinpointed me out as a person with a "furry side" right off the bat and they didn't tell me anything until my B-Day when they bought me a tail from hot topic as a present.

That was an awesome present and from that moment I wore that tail every time I was out of uniform

Yes I was wearing a tail in public on a MILITARY BASE... there is nothing that I know of in the rules against it!

It was really weird for the first 30 seconds because I was scared I would have been put on the ground or arrested for wearing it but the worse was the chuckles of a couple sergeant...

It was great! I was walking around without a care, wearing that tail and letting free my "furry side" made me more happy, more confident, more open to anything that life were to throw at me and I was ready to take it!

I got a couple funny stories to tell about that adventure but it will be for another topic I think :3

Unfortunately I didn't know what happens if you put a furry tail in the drier (I am from Italy, we don't use driers) so you can guess how many ways it got ruined... And I was so sad!

Now I'm trying to find people that can understand me and help me out to figure myself out. I always thought of me as a cat.

I mean I am myself and describing me as "random at best" puts predictability on my randomness.

I never saw a cat defining itself only saw them being them self and so far that's what I've been.

I am kind of selfish and self centered but I will be there for those I care or for those things I care for (aka environment, family, yadda yadda).
If I'm not doing something I'm taking a cat nap.
I enjoy pouncing things and playing with furs and peoples minds.
I am a cuddle whore and it makes me purr (took my cat about 2 months to teach me but I'm a bit rusty...)
I can be annoying to the mewling point.
I am a feline, I am me :3

I hope we can all go along nicely and be friends!
And I hope I will get to meet a lot of friends here in AK!

My apologies for the long intro... I'm not good at those. I prefer to let people figure their version of myself out first. (Evangelion reference here :3)

You dont have to show up in Fur to come to the Furry Inside Party. We understand that not everyone has even ears or tails. that's  okay. The idea is to join together and have fun, while meeting other fellow furs.
