Hi so I'm new to AKC but I'm not new to Alaska infact I haven't even left Alaska.....yet.
So what am I doing on AKC? Well I herd that one of my friends met a fursuiter at Chuck E Cheese and I didn't know that Alaska had furrys. So I googled 'Alaska fursuiters' and it brought me to this site. And now I'm here!
Hopefully this will be an OK site and I stay.
I'm going to cut off here cause its 'late' and I have school tomorrow, so bye! =u=

Welcome to AKC!

I'm pretty sure you can find furries almost anywhere.  I could probably list off about 20 furries that I know of in Alaska if I really tried.  You just don't see them very often, I think the best places to spot them in person are big events like the State Fair (I saw two or three when I went on Friday).  I only know of three or four people that wear full fursuits, most of the people I've seen have just worn partials (ears and tail).

AKC is pretty much furry-dominated most of the time, I don't think there are more than three active members that aren't furries. :P  It's still not really the best place to meet furries though, since it's not usually too active, lol.

You are absolutely right Fox. The best place to meet Furries is AKC events.

I would argue with Fox in saying that AKC is the best place to meet furries.
The trick like always is pulling them out of there shell. Most furries are still in the closet.

Welcome to AKC I am glad you found us and found a home here.

If you would like to meet some more furries come to the BBQ on the 9th and hang out. There will be a bunch of us there. AKC tries to pull the furries together at least once a month.

I have school every day. So I hear ya on that man.

You are welcome here and welcome to stay here as long as you like.

So what kinda Furry are you? How did you discover Furry? What do you like to do? Who are you? Tell us aboot yourself.

Hellos! I am relatively new to Alaska. Moved up from Montana (woot REPRESENT!) haha, but anyway, welcome to AKC. =^_^= I am also new to this site, but everyone here seems pretty freakin' awesome, so don't be too weary of asking or just talking about stoof. Like Oni said, tell us a bit "aboot" yourself haha ^_^

Well thank you all for welcoming me! Aboot myself? Well not much but I came from a 'town' called Newtok, heard of it? No? and now I am in Anchorage and having school at Service High. How i got into furry fandom?  I saw one of my friends had an animal suit on and I asked what was it she was wearing and we got more into detail and i thought it was Interesting My furry is a wolf and his names NeonSpike. I'll post his drawing soon hopefully

I got the name cause I love neon colors and the spike sounded cool together with neon.
My decide on my fursona cause i just adore wolves!
Service is not bad,I have no clue how it was before.
The.....party? oh the bbq! I would, I just need a ride.

I can definitely relate to the love of neon colors. :D  I try to wear lots of bright colors and if I wasn't trying to get a job in the office-world right now, I'd have most likely have bright blue hair. :P

Hope you could find a ride to the barbecue/party, it would be neat to meet someone new!
