Tickle Me Elmo
« on: 2011, October 26, 02:26:14 pm »
To start things off, we are not iscussing a toy product. Sorry lol. I need to get pumped. I need ideas. Im seeing my da da this weekend and need ideas. I have been thinking to myself how to tell him im a furry.... as if I dont we know I will never make it to a party even if Im there. So far I have two ideas. The scary ackward one, flat out tell him. And the easy one. Draw some anthro art. the hard part of that is making the art not look like a squiggly stick man with elf ears and a cactus stuck to his butt XD Basically, Im asking yall two things. Get me pumpedto do something. And suggest what approach to take. Yes you canrecomend other things than my two ideas. So now... INSPIRE ME PEOPLE!!!

Lol. Well I am well aware that I should not use furry porn. Not that I am into that. Or that it would be legal for me to be into that under eighteen. XD  I think I was scared out of te straightforward approach from last time when I told my mom. So to tell the truth I want to encourage him to ask indirectly. Thus my art idea. And to conclude this post. INSPIRATIONAL PICTURE WAS INSPIRING. Horray for redundancy.

Why do you want to be vague with your communication with your dad?

Vague communication leads to mis-communication.

The end result is going to be the same, no matter how you phrase it. What will invoke a better response though, is using tact.

Coming out of your room in a Wilfred costume and saying this is the new you is probably not the best way to do it. However, going to your dad during a normal conversation and talking about it might be more tactful, but even scarier.

Suck up the fear and drive on. It is normal to be scared at times. It is courage that drives us through it.

What went wrong when you told your mom?

Sorry. I misphrased that. I would like him to open the conversation because saying it directly ended up in a lot of questions, which lead to her not knowing rule 34. I tried to explain in depth thar it was no more than a subculture. She was still focused in. Her friends finally explained the cute side and she was more okay. But I stll would rather not talk about it with her. Really I suppose theres not much reason to. But you can guess meant she didnt want me intrested in it at first.. I never said a word about it to her after. My dad is a lot more... agressive and If he disapproves I would really rather not find out how long he can scold me. I suppose you are right though. If I go up and get into a conversation. Tell him all he wants to know. and what I want to tell him. It could go a lt better than having him ask me, because a conversation would have a bit more serious nature to it. And the purpose of the conversation would be directly implied. At worst he yells at me and tells me to get out of that intrest, then grounds me. that's  a absolute worst I suppose. And I need the practice anyway. I know there will be things hard to say. Harder than this. I mean, what could be more FUN than getting or giving the talk?

That is not that bad then. Do you live with your dad? If not, then you don't have to worry to long if he is overly disproving lol

Bad news...

I mean really bad...

Just horrible...

The subway 5$ foot long costs us 7$ in Kenai...

---

Sorry, I had to do that. Part of me just Missed the enter button. Part of me felt childish.

I told him through text. What it is. That I have an interest. I didn't go in depth. No I did not chicken out. There was a wedding when I saw him and that's not a good time for discussing what a furry is. So I used text after. He was pretty cool about it. Still in the conversation though because a leaving plane interrupted it.

I don't usually stay with him but am with him for a few months each year.

With this? Well... not too much. Part of it is not telling him would drive me nuts. Part of it is I would maybe like to attend a furmeet, well actually any family friendly party you host would be fun but y'know. Maybe for if I do get back into drawing. Really not much, and I feel silly for being afraid. Lol. Like I said good practice. I'm sure I wont forget how ridiculously easy this really was.

After reading this I have come to some conclusions. One: Your not into furry porn? Two: The truth is usually the best path to take, variables have to be taken into account to make a distinctive choice between telling someone something and not. Three: Why the hell do you not like furry porn? =P

P.S. I really don't care if you like Yiff or not just being funny.
I am the Hammer, I am the point of His Sword. I am the tip of His Spear. I am the gauntlet about His Fist, I am His sword as He is my armor. I am His wrath and He is my zeal. Let us be His Shield, Let us speak His word as He fuels the fire of devotion. Let us fight His battles, as he fights the battle at the end of time, and let us join him there, for duty ends not in death. I am the bane if His foes and the woes of the treacherous! I am the end!

One: I'm 14 and asexual along with other social, emotional, and possibly psychological oddities. So in a nutshell, its illegal and I'm weird.

Two: Yeah, lying is like digging yourself a ditch (usually... there are rare specific exceptions, which you have to recognize on the spot) But as for making a choice that can be difficult while lacking social skills. Same as what to say once you make the decision, it can be hard.

Three: refer to one
