Has some one inspired you? If so how?
What is your inspiration in life?
How many people have inspired you?

I have been fortunate to have many inspirational people and moments. One that's worthy to mention here is from Rev. Johnathan's lecture series called "Homosexuality and the Bible...Bad news or Good News". It helped me realize that maybe I really could be loved and cherished as a member of the Christian faith, exactly as I am. And maybe the people in other churches could be interpreting Biblical passages in ways other than what God has intended. Johnathan helped me feel good about being partnered with another man, and in a way his words helped give me permission to join wholeheartedly in a spiritual community...

I have  been inspired by many people. One in 5th grade. A teacher, whom I later found out was mormon, but he tought simple idea's and how to open your mind, and your inner eye. He tought me more now than he did then, and I haven't seen him since then. He would take a student out side the class room, and hide a piece of candy in the room. Then bring them back in. "if you really want it, you will walk right to it." He would say. I could find it almost all the time. It was easy. I simply saw were it was in my mind and found it. To think back on that moment, that moment tought me alot about my self, my mind, and who i was. Tought me that i was more than simply seemed.

My Foster Grandmother. Tought me Love, and respect.

My brother, teacher and friends David and Bobby, tought me honor, respect, humility, defense, skill, and love. Much more to that. They were layed down some of foundations of who I am.

My parents for raising me how I am.

My Dad (real dad) for showing me what not to be.

my Fox. For inspiring me to be me.
Glad to be of Service.

Miss Deeter, my high school creative writing teacher, inspired me by writing a minimum of one, sometimes more, honest positive comments on each and every one of my papers.  And on everyone else's as well.  She inspired more kids to stay in school than anyone I know.  People who detested English classes could not wait easily through the day until they were able to go take their seat in her class.  She respected every individual for who they were and what they were capable of.  Twelve years after I graduated she was suffering so badly from a painful form of arthritis that put her in a wheelchair.  She wheeled out on her favorite path as far as she could, then hobbled as much farther as she could to a nice place under a tree and wrote poetry until hypothermia took her.

Effie Latham, vice principal of Mear Jr. High, for protecting me when she saw a group of seven boys calling me homophobic names, and beating me up.  She worked with me for months to get the violence to stop and the name calling reduced.  As it had been escalating, I don't know if I'd be here today if she hadn't intervened unasked.

My grandmothers for different reasons and vastly different, but complimentary temperments.  They both always showed me unconditional love, and knew my voice and face in a sea of cousins.

My mom for her many talents, quiet strength, and for quickly accepting me when I was outed.

My father for always providing well for us, and for coming around in his old age to be a friend.  For only taking a few months to reach out to me after I was outed.  We are close now.

My parents again for teaching my brother, sister, and I not to judge others by race, religion, politics, or other superficial qualities.

My brother for being there when I need him without question, and for his instant reply when I came out to him of, "So what! I still love you." Spoken less than a heartbeat after I told him I am gay.

My sister for all her support.

My children for their love that has had to jump the fundamentalist hurdle.

Have you ever had a inspirational moment in life?  Entering Robert Wood Johnson University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  I want to be a doctor, and I want to be one of the best not for a quasi celebrity status or great pay, but to know that I will have had truly done greater than others to do the best for others.

Has some one inspired you? If so how?
Many people.  My father, I have to be the best because he is.  My grandfather (RIP) because he was a good guy.  Ms. Brady Chem Professor, hard to explain.. has a lot to do with education.  Valerie Defrance, best damn paramedic I've known and just seemed to inspire me to advocate even more for the well being of all my patients.

What is your inspiration in life?  To know the most and be the best in field.  To give the best care to my core group of peeps, my team, and my patients.  Simply be a dude that people like and can relate to and if I'm lucky, turn to.

How many people have inspired you?  That I know of?  2  My teammate and good friend Zach, and my teammate Eagle.

I am inspired by my friends constantly. If it weren't for the good ol' Alcovite Family I bet I would be going down the same path as my sister. I'm greatful that I was able to meet some friends that shared some of my intrests and helped me see that things can be better. Before I met them I would smoke pot aand drink just because my sisters did. When I met them I realized that I don't have to be like my sisters to fit in. I had my own little family that looked out for me, even if we weren't related by blood!
