Info on Fictional Stories and Group Stories.
« on: 2007, June 21, 08:46:37 am »
These stories can be inspirational or simply a fictional story that you want to share.
These stories can be about just about anything but please put up a brief rating of the story and why you gave it that rating. No "adult or errotic" work permitited. Stories can have adult material in them, but please do not go in to to much detail unless it is of relivence to the story. If you have a question about this please ask a moderator. All Moderators are open minded, and will not try and limit your artistic creativity.
People are allowed to comment on the stories, but please do so in the "Discussion and comments on Stories" Thread, so as not to interupt the story.
All Group Stories People are allowed to enter. Just so long as they up hold the rules.

Group Story Rules.

1.   All are welcome to play.
2.   Some one will post a part of the story, no more than 500 words long, preferably no less than 100 words.
3.   Some one else will pick up the next part.
4.   People have freedom to do with the story as they please. I suggest keeping it no more graphical than the last story that Rachael posted. You can make it as silly and serious, even scary if you like, as you want. So if you see a part of the story were you would like to jump in, feel free.
5.   I would jump in quick, because if when you are typing your post, and some one else posts first, there post stays. It will be on a first post first stay bases. That way there is no arguing over timing. So for example you want to jump in and you type up a nice addition to the story, but when you go to post, you notice that some one beat you to the punch (so to speak) there’s stays. So you may have to reword yours if you really liked yours or retype it. Hehe Sorry just the easiest way to keep control and keep it exciting. A little warning system has been set up, so if you do go to post your story, and some one else has posted first, it should tell you. Sadly though it wont tell you till after you hit the post button.
6.   Character killing permission…well unless it is relivent to the story I suggest that if you want to kill of a character you stick to yours. I do not want to put to many rules of what you can and can’t do down as this is the creativeness of everybody, and everyone has different styles. So use your best judgement. And if your character does get killed. Remember you are a creative author as well, you have the magic fingers to bring them back. Hehe. Phenix Down.
7.   When writing about characters created by other people, you have freedom to do with as you please. Though keep in mind the past of that character. I understand that not all of us here are mind readers so we don’t know how the author imagines that character. But for example: If Bob (a fictional charcter that’s created by say Rachael) Loves animals. It’s not a good idea to have him BBQ’n cute adorable kitties when its your turn to write. Though you could say that Bob is mentally ill, and is secretly an ax murder, but still loves kitties. LOL. Nervise break downs are always fun to play with.
8.   Now just remember that every author (witch is all those who want to post on the story) has the freedom of everybody else. So if you don’t like what one author does. Don’t flame him, don’t take it out on his characters. Just remember that you have the same power he/she does and can minuplate the story to your whim on the next post. Not everyone thinks in the same way as everyone else. Just be respectful to eachother.
9.  Oh ya. Any one is free to read and post to the story. But if you have a comment about the story. After the story is created. I will create another group under brainstorm, with a link to the story, were you can post your comments about it, and discuss it. That way comments don’t get mixed in with story. And I encourage everyone to read the stories and comment on them.
10.  “You never know what could happen”
11.  All Group stories become property of Alaska Community, and House Kitsune'.

Again here is a short one line example:
Oni- The Cat jumps over the moon
Rachael – and lands in a puddle of milk
Fox – Started at wet, the Cat jumps out of the milk and runs into a black hole that takes him to the land of make believe.
Oni – As the cat wonders around the new land, he noticed human acting like animals and animals acting like humans.
Glad to be of Service.
