I'm Rachael.  I'm 21 years old and I'm studying Japanese.  I love foreign languages.  I think they're beautiful and fun and I'm probably one of the few people who have translation for a hobby.

I'm sort of a Christian, but not really.  I don't really believe a whole lot lately, but I act like I do.  I disagree with much of the Bible, but I'm also fairly superstitious when it comes to God and damnation and stuff like that.

I'm straight and currently single.  I like men who are bi- or multilingual.  I'm not interested in dating someone who's bisexual because I think in most cases that's a cover-up for being gay.

Aside from translating things, I love to play Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile 2, listen to music, and buy stuff on eBay.  I like world music and music from video games.  I love The Beatles but have been kind of sick of their music lately.  I like to buy imported stuff from Japan.  The most-played song on my iTunes playlist is "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys, but that doesn't really matter because it's on Shuffle most of the time.  The genres with the most songs on my playlist are Classical, Rock, and Soundtrack.

I like to sleep, hang out with friends and hear myself talk and watch myself write.  I like to read and write stories.  I don't have a crush on anyone right now.  I'm a bit of a feminist and can be adamant about issues I know next to nothing about.  I don't like to engage in intense debates because I'm not very good at backing up my arguments.

I think I've said enough, but I'm having so much fun describing myself I might just make a Livejournal rant about it later.

Strange how all music programs that have "shuffle" seem to have a tendency to repeat specific songs and never play others.  But I guess that means that it's pretty randomized in comparison to like, CD players, which generally "shuffle" a CD, but only repeat a song after all others have been played at least once in its cycle.

that is actual randomness, if every song got a change then it isnt truly random.

I'm sure it's not actual randomness, just probably a complicated mathematic equation used to simulate randomness.  I think that's all computers can do anyways.
