better sex life
« on: 2007, July 19, 05:10:57 pm »

Interesting what you find out on the internet.

Anal sex leads to a better sex life

There was a new study out that said couples or people, gay or straight that have anal sex usually experience a healthier sex life. The study said that because they are willing to experience new sexual activates, their sex lives are generally more fulfilling. It does not specifically say those that just have anal sex will have a better sex life, it was just the common denominator.

Anal sex can be very pleasurable for both men and women but it must be done with much considerations. You cannot have as rough sex as normal with vaginal sex because you do not want to hurt a vital organ in your butt. Also, it is generally more painful for women after the first couple of times, similar to how they felt after losing their virginity.

Some other activities that anal sex has been known to lead to was more intimate role playing, group sex, bondage, masturbation and the use of sex toys.

It should be noted that anal sex should still be used safely with a condom as STD’s can still result from anal sex.

Puh-lease.  That was the most unprofessional medical article I've ever read in my entire life.  It cited no references whatsoever.  And it was a FORUM post.  The entire article was sloppy and used very poor logic.  It didn't even explain how the study was conducted.

"You cannot have as rough sex as normal with vaginal sex because you do not want to hurt a vital organ in your butt."  "Butt"?  That word could refer to the buttocks or anus.  What are they talking about here?  "Vital organ"?  The large intestine, more specifically the colon, is the only "vital organ" in that area.

"Also, it is generally more painful for women after the first couple of times, similar to how they felt after losing their virginity." lol whut.  Many women experience little to no pain when losing their virginity.  The amount of pain felt in losing virginity--be it vaginal or anal--varies from person to person.  And why would this especially effect women?  Men can be a receiver in anal sex too, even within heterosexual couples.

"Some other activities that anal sex has been known to lead to was more intimate role playing, group sex, bondage, masturbation and the use of sex toys."  Unnecessary information.  These are all neutral activities, and have nothing to do with the thesis statement, which is that "people, gay or straight, that have anal sex usually experience a healthier sex life."

As for the thesis itself--"healthier sex life"?  A healthier sex life than whom?  The implication is "couples who do not have anal sex," but it could also mean "a healther sex life than before they had anal sex."  Also, "gay or straight" does not really belong in a professional article.  "Heterosexual or homosexual" should be used--or better yet, "regardless of sexual orientation."

I'm pretty sure the original "article"--or forum post--was a joke.  If nothing else, I think the phrase "in your butt" gave it away.

Still, it was an amusing read.

ROFLOL I am glad that you had an enjoyable read. hehe. I really dont know what to say. I have heard that about 30% of hetrosexual couples have anal sex, and only about half of gay couples do it. .... ya half... i figured it would be much higher. Really I dont think that anal sex in a gay relationship, or vanagal sex in a hetrorelationship is the only way to have sex. couples can experiance intamace (sp) even with out full intercourse.

It's "intimacy."

What does that have to do with the original post? :p

I was more saying that realisticaly i would have to say that it would only argue that you have a more diverse sex live not a more healthy one.
