My name is Vicki, I currently attend the University of A, and I am a very happily taken lesbian!! Sorry had to state that fact! Anywho, I am glad Oni directed me to this forum for it is rather very intriguing and educational in peoples views. Anywho, I am also the Media Mogul for UAA's The Family who help and supports those of the LGBTQA genre(Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender, Questioning, and Allies). Which in easier terms we invite everyone of every kind! My job for this club is to inform the community of special events that are being sponsored by or for The Family.  I take the photos, make the fliers, and do whatever it takes for the community to be informed.  It is sometimes a bit hard to keep up with the club between work and school but all in all it is a very supportive club. It is open to those that are students of UAA and we are working on joining ourself with APU...even though we sneak in APU students to join us for our meetings!  If you have any questions in regarding UAA's The Family, fire off an email to abfam.alaska.edu or just ask me and I can answer it to the best of my ability!!
