What is it like for you to be gay/lesbian/trans/bi/strait/ect...in the world today?
How are you treated?
What do you think of how people are treated?
What would you like to change?
What do you like about it?
What do you dislike about it?
How do you feel you are effeceted and effect others because of it?
Glad to be of Service.

Well for me. I am strait, so it's relitivly easy. Though When I do hang out with Gay friends I tend to get picked on from time to time. But I never let it bother me.
I find that amongst Strait people, I am treated fine, but any other sexual classes of life, it varies from being treated like everybody else to being snubed and cursed at. Really though It's no different that traveling, you stumble across differnt people. Some like you some dont, and they make that choice for what ever reason, from your shoes to your hair, to  your demenear.
I think that in general sociaty treats people like crap. Though there are a few people that help make the world a better place. Like the people of this forum. Everyone here I have seen, simply by what they had to say, help make the world better for everybody.
What would I like to change in the world. Really nothing. There is a need for everything. I believe there is a quote some were on the forum that's  states, "If God gave me his power I would change the world....but if he gave me his wisdom too, I would leave it exactly how it is."
I like how now matter how dark it is, you can always find a light flickering some were calling to you. There are always people willing to help you, even in the mist of Hell.
How people are judged by nothing mroe than apearance.
I do what I can not to be effected by much, call it a survival trick. But I also do what I can to influence the good in people, and teach them to care, and help one another no matter who the other is. As long as it is a good cause, then help if you can.
OHH LOOK! Its Sonic....Can I have his autograph!?

When it comes to my life and how I am treated for being a lesbian is just fine and dandy. I am lucky enough not to experience any sort of discrimination/ get negative remarks for being gay such as my two furry bros once did in the military base. I don’t have one of “Oh she is so lesbian” outer apperance traits so it’s quite difficult for anyone to know I am gay. I see it beneficial yet not. I would like other gays to know I am one as well and that they are not alone. However, I am not the type of person who will flaunt their sexual orientation. I am more of the type who will tell you if asked. The only gay pride I have and show to everyone (including to my family) is my gay pride earring. It’s honestly a bit hard to see it because my hair covers it when I have it down. Sometimes when someone learns that I am gay, they assume I’m Bi or just like to think I’m bi. It doesn’t bother me most of the time; however, when my closest friends/family members keep insisting that, it gets to me. But I am starting to get off topic now. *cough*

The way folks get treated differs really. I think it depends on the location one is in. I mean, if gays go to a military base, then one would expect some sort of unwelcoming. Why, because the military don’t tolerate homosexuality. That also includes a town that is deeply to somewhat conservative. However, if gays go to a liberal/ open town (such as New York City), then they will be more welcomed.

I personally think the best method to help reduce negative treatment to gays is to inform/educate the general public that gays are just as human as them. “Knowledge is Power!” If you don’t believe me, then remember to our nation’s history. At one point everyone believed that Blacks were nothing more than slaves, but look at today- whites and Blacks working together and no more slavery. It took decades for that to change. Hopefully for the gays it won’t take that long- LOL.

*exhales deeply* I don’t know what else to say.
